Canon introduces the compact PowerShot G16, S120, SX170 IS and SX510 HS
Canon tip remains strong on compact cameras, but we do not speak about the ‘classic’ sun point-and-shoots. Among the four new PowerShot models presented in the recent days stands the G16, slightly retro-style camera that will arrive in October at the considerable sum of 604 €, which is justified by the presence of a 12.1MP CMOS sensor, DIGIC 6 and optical very bright f / equal to 1.8-2.8 Zoom 5x (28-140mm). The acquisition of the movies is obviously in full HD at 1080 in 60p well, thanks to the powerful CPU – up to now never used by Canon in this category.
Canon Camera G16

Canon SX510
Its younger sister, the PowerShot SX170 IS does not include Wi-Fi connectivity and has a 16MP sensor, optical zoom to more modest amounts to 16x (28-448mm) that is even less bright given the values f/3.5-5.9, stabilizer and the image recording which is only 720p.
