OnePlus 6T, specifications confirmed by promotional images
The month of October will end with three important events for the mobile sector. One of them was organized by OnePlus to announce the new top of the range. In reality it will only be a formality, since we now know everything about the OnePlus 6T, in particular design, specifications and price. The last leak in order of time shows five promotional images related to as many new hardware. In another image there is instead the complete data sheet of the smartphone.
The OnePlus 6T will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 6, with full HD + resolution (2340×1080 pixels) and droplet notch. 86% screen-to-body ratio was achieved by also reducing the thickness of the frames. On the back there is only the dual camera with 16 and 20 megapixel sensors, combined with lenses with f / 1.7 aperture. The fingerprint reader has indeed been moved below the screen. The front camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels instead.
Another new feature compared to the current OnePlus 6 is the 3.700 mAh battery. The elimination of the 3.5 mm audio jack allowed to increase the capacity and therefore the autonomy. Recharging takes place via USB Type-C port. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed the absence of wireless charging, despite the glass back cover. The OnePlus 6T integrates the octa core Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of storage, 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, Galileo and LTE.
The operating system is OxygenOS 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie. The OnePlus 6T will be announced on 29 October and will arrive on the European market on 6 November. The price of the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage should be € 579.00.
