Microsoft attacked by hackers

It is confirmed. Even Microsoft has been attacked by hackers, not in the last days but some time ago: the information was given only now because the Redmond company dealing with the new challenges of the market did not want to alarm all its consumers in any way as they have already had occasions to rule those of Apple. In fact, it seems that the damages suffered by the company have been very few if not zero. To tell us exactly what happened precisely was the Microsoft Security Response Center, stressing that hackers have entered the system but were not able to infect a large number of computers:

Microsoft says: “In line with our security practices we had chosen not to make any public statement during the initial process of gathering information. During our investigation we found a limited number of computers, including some of our Mac business which had been infected by malicious software using techniques similar to those documented by other organizations. At the moment we have no evidence that the data of the customers was affected but our investigation is ongoing. This type of attack is not a surprise to Microsoft and other companies that have to deal with a persistent and determined adversary.”

The origin of the attack has not yet been identified: whether it was the same hackers who are most likely from Russia, that  attacked Facebook, Twitter and the aforementioned Big Apple?
