MediEvil: the remake for PS4 is shown for the first time in photos and videos

Sir Daniel Fortesque unfolds his bones in the first, highly anticipated video of MediEvil’s gameplay for PlayStation 4 that Sony wanted to publish on the occasion of the Halloween party to make us re-embrace the hero of this unforgettable platform series.

The new project that will have as protagonist the most awkward rider of the kingdom of Gallowmere will be edited by the team of Other Ocean Interactive and, in a similar way to the last remakes of Spyro The Dragon and Crash Bandicoot, will be a complete remake of the masterpiece that gave rise to the myth of MediEvil, the eponymous videogame published in 1998 on the first PlayStation console.

MediEvil tells the story of Sir Dan, an unlikely hero who meets an unfortunate end on the battlefield. However, he gets a hope of redemption when his nemesis, the evil sorcerer Lord Zarok, brings him back to life by mistake 100 years later. Lord Zarok wants to conquer the kingdom of Gallowmere and only the skeletal Sir Dan can stop Zarok’s undead army and protect the kingdom.

The launch date of the remake of MediEvil for PlayStation 4 has not yet been announced, but we can easily look to the second half of 2019 as the most probable marketing period for this new adventure with Sir Daniel Fortesque with graphics redone from scratch, enemies from more refined artificial intelligence, smoother animations, redesigned controls on the keyboard layout of the DualShock 4 and the same, irresistible charge of black humor of the ’98 masterpiece.
