iOS 12, a concept shows the “Vista Siri” mode

Forget about games and dinosaurs in the living room. A spectacular concept shows how the Augmented Reality of iOS 12 could really change our lives, thanks to a feature renamed Vista Siri.

With iOS 12 will come important news, and one of these could concern Augmented Reality, a technology that has always been very dear to iCEO.

A design student, Michael Calcada, created a concept of the next version of iOS that shows grouped notifications, “Notification Dot” (ie a red dot that notifies you of new notifications), a Dark mode, manual controls in the ‘Camera app, Group FaceTime chat, enhanced volume controls and a general redesign of the entire graphical user interface.

To all this, added a feature that has the credentials to become one of the flagships of the next update: Vista Siri. Thanks to it, it is enough to point a restaurant, a monument, a bus stop to know from Siri that hours ago, which reviews boasts and what are the other points of interest in the area.

A similar update would give Siri a new luster, especially now that it does not pass very well; in general, there is an extreme delay in its development compared to competitors such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant; so much so that iPhone X has virtually a total satisfaction from users, with the exception of Siri.

We’ll see if Apple will eat the leaf, and is really considering this possibility. In the end, the necessary technologies are already there: Internet, GPS, Compass, written recognition and objects, especially machine learning.
