Honor 20 Pro available from August 2nd

More than two months after the announcement, Honor has finally announced the start date of the sale of its high-end smartphone. The new Honor 20 Pro, presented May 21 along with Honor 20, will be available in Russia from August 2nd. The smartphone will arrive later in other countries, including Italy.

Honor 20 Pro has a “holographic” glass cover made with a technique called Triple 3D Mesh. The 6.26-inch screen has a full HD + resolution (2340×1080 pixels) and a small hole in the upper left corner at the 32-megapixel camera. The hardware equipment also includes the Kirin 980 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The rear-facing Quad Camera consists of a 48-megapixel main Sony IMX586 sensor (standard f / 1.4 lens), flanked by 16-megapixel sensors (f / 2.2 wide-angle lens), 8-megapixel (3x optical zoom lens) and 2-megapixel (macro camera f / 2.2). Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Galileo, NFC and LTE (dual SIM).

There are also the fingerprint reader on the right side and the USB Type-C port. The battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh and supports SuperCharge fast charging. The operating system is Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 interface. The price of the smartphone is 599.90 euros.

Honor 20 Pro was to be sold together with Honor 20, but the manufacturer had still received the Android license due to the ban imposed by the Trump administration. The certification has subsequently arrived and now the smartphone can be purchased in different countries.
