Rocket League: the patch at the end of August introduces the Club and a new XP Progression system

Rocket League, the “Fortnite on four wheels” of Psyonix, does not stop evolving with the 1.50 patch released by US developers in these hours to make even more irresistible the multiplayer experience of their acrobatic racing game now close to reach and exceed 50 millions of players.

The new update adds many new Unlockable Lenses and Trophies on Xbox One and PS4, expands the catalog of selectable tracks with new techno-rock tracks and solves dozens of minor bugs detected in recent months by users on PC and console: the strong offer is however represented by the introduction of the Club and an unprecedented XP Progression system.

Clubs allow players to create and manage online groups to invite their friends to challenge other teams in both classified and private matches: each club can be customized with a unique tag and two “social colors” to distinguish one’s own team. Finally, linked to the multiplayer experience are the changes made by Psyonix to the system of progression of the levels of experience, with the abandonment of the level-cap to 75 and the impossibility of obtaining points outside the online games.

The update that introduces the Club and the new system of progression levels of experience, like all the other patches and free expansions released by Psyonix during these years, will be present in the Rocket League: Ultimate Edition, whose release is scheduled for 31 August this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for € 39.99 and on Nintendo Switch for € 49.99.
