Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, two is better than one

As announced a few days ago, Xiaomi has unveiled two new mid-range smartphones during an event organized in Madrid. These are the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, respectively international versions of the Mi 6X and the Redmi 6 Pro. Looking at the front you immediately notice the main difference, that is the notch in the upper part of the Lite model screen.

Xiaomi Mi A2

The Mi A2 has an aluminum unibody frame and a 5.99-inch screen with full HD + resolution (2160×1080 pixels) and an 18: 9 aspect ratio. The hardware includes an octa core Snapdragon 660 processor, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 32/64/128 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards. For the dual rear camera, 12 and 20 megapixel Sony sensors were chosen, matched by lenses with an aperture of f / 1.75, while the front one has a resolution of 20 megapixels.
Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and LTE with dual SIM support. The battery has a capacity of 3,010 mAh. There are also the fingerprint reader, the USB Type-C port and the infrared emitter. The 3.5 mm audio jack is missing. The operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo in stock version. The Mi A2 is indeed an Android One smartphone. Prices are 279.00 euros (4GB + 32GB), 299.00 euros (4GB + 64GB) and 349.00 euros (6GB + 128GB). It will be available in Italy from August 8th through online and offline channels, including authorized Mi Store, Wind Tre, Mediaworld, Unieuro, Amazon, Euronics, Trony and Expert. It will be possible to pre-order the device on Amazon from August 1st.

The hardware includes an octa core Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards. For the dual rear camera, 12 and 5 megapixel Sony sensors have been chosen, while the front one has a resolution of 5 megapixels.
