Vivo X27 and X27 Pro, smartphone with pop-up camera

Vivo is one of the most innovative smartphone manufacturers, as evidenced by the numerous technologies developed before direct competitors, including the increasingly widespread in-display fingerprint reader.

Another novelty is the pop-up front camera introduced with the Vivo NEX and now also present in the new Vivo X27 and X27 Pro (as well as in the recent Vivo V15). The two smartphones share different specifications, but have some aesthetic differences. Both have a Super AMOLED screen with full HD + resolution. The diagonals are 6.39 inches for Vivo X27 and 6.7 inches for Vivo X27 Pro. The high screen-to-body ratio (greater than 90%) was achieved with a retractable front camera that emerges from the upper edge. The Vivo X27 module includes only the lens, while the Vivo X27 Pro is wider because there is also a dual LED flash. The resolution also changes: 16 megapixels for Vivo X27 and 32 megapixels for Vivo X27 Pro. Both models have three rear cameras with 48, 13 and 5 megapixel sensors. The hardware of the Vivo X27 also includes a Snapdragon 675 or 710 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. The Vivo X27 Pro instead integrates a Snapdragon 710 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Other common specifications are the 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and LTE (dual SIM), the in-display fingerprint reader, the 3.5 mm audio jack, the USB Type-C port and the 4.000 battery mAh with fast charge support (22.5 Watts). The operating system is Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 interface. The prices of the Vivo X27 are 3,198 yuan (Snapdragon 675, 8GB + 128GB) and 3,598 yuan (Snapdragon 710, 8GB + 256GB), equal to about 421 and 464 euros. The price of the Vivo X27 Pro is instead 3,998 yuan, equal to about 526 euros.
