Samsung working on a tablet controlled by thought
One of the most active giants based in South Korea is also known across the four corners of the world. We are talking about Samsung. The technicians of its research and development department are engaged in a really huge challenge.Their goal is to develop a tablet controlled by thought. It’s not a typo, you read it right!

After controlling touch, gestures and voice, the interface of the future could be represented by brain stimulation. Samsung is currently working on this ground. It is not a likely prospect of a quick landing on the market but they are laying the groundwork for this to happen soon. This confirms the absence of limits including culture and technology which goes continuously to new shores offering solutions to increasingly complex and advanced problems in their scientific roots but simple to use for the end user.

The hope is to make possible a new form of interaction and the ability to throw in the attic current ones. The process will be gradual and the results are not so obvious but Samsung wants to be among the first to propose some features based on mind control in the next generation of digital tablets.

Electro Encephalogramme
The researchers of the company are already at work together with Professor Roozbeh Jafari of the University of Texas. The project is being executed and has a name called tablet piloted by EEG, Electro encephalogramme. The experiments are conducted with a series of electrodes placed on the head of users guinea pig to detect brain activity and transcribe it in a control computer. The technique is already used in the medical field to operate the electronic devices intended for patients with movement disorders but the system is still in the pipeline away from the market.
