Samsung Magbee, smart speaker with Bixby?
It is no secret that Samsung is working on its smart speaker and it is not news that this product can be equipped with the Bixby voice assistant. The novelty is that this interesting product could be called “Magbee”. In fact, the Korean house has registered this particular name with the USPTO. Sifting through the public details of the recording there is an explicit reference to a “wireless speaker dial”. This is a definition that fits perfectly with a smart speaker as it literally means wireless speaker.
Samsung Magbee could be the repeatedly chatted innovative Korean home speaker smart. However, what emerged from the USPTO is not enough to clearly confirm the nature of the device even if the clues are all addressed to the smart speaker. There are two dates in which Samsung could discover his cards. The first is the 9th of August when the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be unveiled, while the second papal appointment in which this product could be announced is the 30th of August, the date of the event that the Korean company will hold at the IFA 2018 Berlin.
At this point all that remains is to wait to see if Samsung really has ready its first smart speaker. We do not know much about him.
