Samsung Galaxy A70s, 64 megapixel camera

The Samsung Galaxy A70s has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 675 processor, 6/8 GB of RAM, three 64, 8 and 5 megapixel rear cameras, 32 megapixel front camera and Android 9 Pie.

Samsung has announced a new mid-range smartphone in India. This is the Galaxy A70s, an updated version of the previous Galaxy A70, of which it retains its large screen and design. In reality the only difference is represented by the 64 megapixel rear camera.

The Galaxy A70s has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD + resolution (240×1080 pixels). The original 20: 9 aspect ratio was chosen to offer a better user experience with multimedia content (films in particular). The drop-shaped notch at the top, which houses the 32-megapixel front camera, has a very small size.

On the back, in plastic with a holographic effect, there is a photographic module identical to that of the Galaxy A70, but Samsung used a 64-megapixel main sensor, combined with a f / 1.8 aperture lens, instead of the previous 32-megapixel sensor . The other two cameras remain unchanged: 8 and 5 megapixel sensors for ultra-wide-angle shots and for the bokeh effect.

The hardware equipment also includes the Snapdragon 675 processor, 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, expandable with microSD cards. Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and LTE (dual SIM) modules. Also present are the in-display fingerprint reader, the 3.5 mm audio jack and the USB Type-C port. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and supports 25 Watt fast charge. The operating system is Android 9 Pie with One UI interface.

The Galaxy A70s is available in three colors: Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush White and Prism Crush Black. Prices are 28,999 rupees (6GB + 128GB) and 30,999 rupees (8GB + 128GB), corresponding to around 376 and 402 euros, respectively. It is not known if and when it will be distributed in Europe.
