Samsung Galaxy A50s and A30s, better cameras

Samsung has already begun to update the catalog of the Galaxy A series (2019) introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. The new Galaxy A50s and A30s are in fact better versions of the previous Galaxy A50 and A30. The main changes concern the number and resolution of the cameras, but a design change has also been made.

The two smartphones have a glossy plastic cover like their predecessors, but Samsung has used a special technique to add a holographic effect and a geometric pattern. Four new colors were also chosen: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet. The Galaxy A50s has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U screen with full HD + resolution (2340×1080 pixels), while the Galaxy A30s has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-V display with HD + resolution (1560×720 pixels).

The hardware of the Galaxy A50s also includes the Exynos 9610 octa core processor, 4/6 GB of RAM, 64/128 GB of storage, microSD slot, front camera (in the notch) of 32 megapixels and rear cameras of 48, 8 and 5 megapixel (standard, wide-angle and depth). The Galaxy A30s instead integrates the Exynos 7904 octa core processor, 3/4 GB of RAM, 32/64/128 GB of storage, microSD slot, front camera (in the notch) of 16 megapixels and rear cameras of 25, 8 and 5 megapixels (standard, wide-angle and depth).

Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and LTE (dual SIM) modules. There are also the in-display fingerprint reader, the USB Type-C port, the FM radio, the 3.5 mm audio jack and the 4,000 mAh battery with support for 15 watt quick charge. The operating system is Android 9 Pie with One UI interface. Prices have not been communicated.
