Nokia 5.2 Captain America, specifications and pictures
A few days after the previous rumors, the well-known leaker Evan Blass has published new details on Twitter on the Nokia 5.2 that HMD Global should announce at the Mobile World Congress 2020 in Barcelona. Two images confirm the design and show the photo module of the smartphone, also known by the code name Captain America.
The Nokia 5.2 will be a mid-range model and take the place of the current Nokia 5.1. The image shows a traditional notch at the top of the screen and the rear photographic module. The latter, circular in shape, includes four lenses and dual LED flash. Until now it was assumed the presence of two cameras, as the Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 have three.
According to Evan Blass, the smartphone will integrate the octa core Snapdragon 632 processor, flanked by 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, therefore better hardware than expected (3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of storage). Even if the logo is not visible in the images, the Nokia 5.2 should be an Android One smartphone and therefore with the stock version of Android 10.
The price will almost certainly be below 200 euros. During the event organized in Barcelona, HMD Global will certainly present other models. The most anticipated is the Nokia 8.2 5G with Snapdragon 765 processor, 5G modem and pop-up front camera. The Finnish manufacturer will focus on new devices to counter the rise of Chinese competitors in different markets.
