Meizu 16 in Italy starting from 550 euros

The distributor Concorde S.p.A. has brought in Italy the new top of the range of the Chinese manufacturer. The Meizu 16, presented at the beginning of August, has very interesting characteristics and can compete on equal terms with its direct competitors. In fact, the smartphone has an excellent hardware equipment and excellent build quality.

The Meizu 16 features a 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with full HD + resolution (2160×1080 pixels) and an 18: 9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio approaches 90% thanks to the reduced thickness of the frames. The side ones are almost invisible (1.43 mm), while the upper 7 mm housing the 20-megapixel camera, the headset and the speaker. Inside the aluminum and glass frame are placed the Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage.

The dual rear camera has 20 and 12 megapixel Sony sensors, combined with a standard lens with f / 1.8 aperture and a telephoto lens with f / 2.6 aperture with 3x lossless zoom. Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Galileo and LTE. There are also a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and an in-display fingerprint reader.

The battery has a capacity of 3,010 mAh. The operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo with FlymeOS interface. The prices of the Meizu 16 (black color) are 549.99 euros (6GB + 64GB) and 629.99 euros (8GB + 128GB). The smartphone can be purchased in the major consumer electronics chains.
