MacBook Pro 14 “: launch in May

Despite the difficulties caused by the Coronavirus emergency, Apple is doing everything possible to continue normal research and development activities, and the engineering of new products. And so, after iPhone 9 these days, in May it will be the turn of the new MacBook Pro. And they will have a feature that nobody expected.

Codenamed J223, the new MacBook Pro coming in a few weeks will be an upgrade of the current 13 “model. On the other hand, after the MacBook Air of last month and the MacBook Pro 16” of 5 months ago, the entry model level was the only one left out of the update round.

But beyond the small improvements to processor and video card (10th generation Intel Ice Lake lineage with 10 nanometer architecture), the most interesting novelty of the new models will certainly be the wider screen. With the same overall dimensions, the machine will in fact enjoy a 14 “display. In addition, of course, to the new-old keyboard with scissor mechanism that will avoid the pain of the glued keys of the bankruptcy butterfly mechanism.

We don’t have a definitive launch date, but rumors speak of May; therefore, reasonably, the MacBook Pro 14 “will arrive in at least 3 or 4 weeks.
