LG announces the new G Pro 2

Shortly before the Mobile World Congress opens its doors, LG Electronics has officially announced its new flagship, the G Pro 2. The new high end handset from the Korean company will have a 5.9 inch diagonal screen and thin frame of the order of 3.3 mm, thus forming a magnified version, at least visually, the G2. It has also maintained the placement of the control keys on the back of the device. Inside G Pro 2 is hidden an 8 core processor Snapdragon 800, clocked at 2,26 GHz with the Adreno 330 GPU. The device has a memory RAM 3 GB, along with storage space 16 or 32 GB and slot for memory card installation type microSD. The battery has a capacity of 3.200 mAh and supports technologies LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.

Noteworthy is the existence of a watt speaker power, which will allow the playback in Hi-Fi quality, with more bass at 30% compared to G Pro. In terms of operating system selected the most recent version 4.4 KitKat of Android. The camera of the device is 13 Megapixel resolution and is complemented by advanced image stabilization OIS+. Moreover, LG has used elements of software and hardware to improve the reception quality in photos and videos. A new element in the equipment of G Pro 2 is the Knock Code, which is similar to the earlier KnockOn, but with the addition of certain functions. By using Knock Code the user can create their own combination lock and unlock the device. According to the LG are over 86,367 combinations that the user can choose. Another new feature is Content Lock, which allows users to protect files and folders with separate passwords. According to the announcements of LG Electronics, the G Pro 2 will initially be available only in Korea, followed later in the global launch. The device will make its maiden appearance during the Mobile World Congress, in late February, along with other new handsets from the Korean company.
