Kim Dotcom | From the courts in the elections
The internet mogul, Kim Dotcom is involved as a defendant in various lawsuits. However, he remains very popular, as more than 700 people gathered to celebrate the political party founded just last month with the main objective to promote freedom of the internet. The last of the Site, will be published shortly after the agreement, which estimates cost the project mogul 180 million dollar. Mr Dotcom is accused of massive copyright infringement associated with the website Megaupload that allows for sharing large volumes of records, which he founded in 2005.

According to the prosecution evidence the U.S. last December, had descended movies up to 500,000 times for a period of six months from the website. The FBI claimed that Megaupload cheated copyright holders for 500 million dollars and received over 175 million dollars in proceeds from subscriptions and advertising, while Dotcom himself received 42 million dollars for 2010 alone. Last week, Hollywood studios sued to turn on Megaupload and Dotcom and a few days later four major music industries followed the same path.

Despite the contradictory feelings expressed on the face of this eccentric person, people want to hear his voice in the elections, at least in New Zealand, where fans on twitter seem to have increased significantly.
