Iron Man’s repulsor controlled by the muscles DIY

The community offers an instructable and very interesting gadget for fans of superheroes and comics. It is none other than one of Iron Man‘s repulsor beams equipped with appropriate lights and sounds and controlled by the muscles of the forearm. In the meantime the do it yourself department of the cosplayers and fans community of the saga in general are working together for the creation of similar projects which offer a relatively simple method to build one of the iconic Iron Man’s repulsor gloves which can be easily fitted into any costume and able to donate a considerable credibility.

Not only will it have a series of LEDs but it can be controlled through the forearm making a distinction between a charge phase and a phase of fire that follow the contraction and relaxation of muscles . These are also associated with the appropriate sounds, as well as the voice of artificial intelligence JARVIS.

Wish List

The operation of this fun gadget is based, besides the LED,  on the presence of a muscle sensor. We recommend Muscle Sensor v3 of Advancer Technologies able to precisely record the electrical activity of the muscles accordingly by sending a signal. Then we would need a battery, a voltage regulator, small speakers, gloves, conductive fabric and application boards with Arduino and Adafruit. Of course hammer, soldering iron and hot glue are essential and maybe even a little luck to get out alive although the instructions seem pretty simple and it is constructed in a conducive way with detail through the process of creation. The entire project is available on the website of Instructables.
