Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, specific design and possibilities

The attention of the specialized press and users is all for the new Galaxy S20 series which announces February 11. Huawei will try to contrast Samsung’s leadership with equally interesting and innovative smartphones, namely Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, whose debut is expected in late March.

The possible design of the two models was revealed by some renderings that appeared online. There are two in-display front cameras in the upper left corner of the OLED screen (flat for P40 and dual edge for P40 Pro). The main difference will probably be represented by the diagonal (at least 6.1 inches for P40 and 6.5 inches for P40 Pro) and the resolution (full HD + and Quad HD +).

The photo module will have a rectangular shape, but will change the number of lenses. The P40 should have three cameras (perhaps standard, ultra wide angle and telephoto with optical zoom), while the P40 Pro requires five cameras (perhaps standard, ultra wide angle, periscope telephoto, macro and ToF). The main one could have a 64 megapixel sensor.

Included integrated models are the Kirin 990 5G processor, at least 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of memory. Definitely absent the microSD slot and the 3.5mm audio jack. The battery will support fast and wireless charging (also reverse). The operating system will obviously be Android 10 with EMUI 10 interface.

Trump will still be in effect, Huawei will not be provided by Google services, as on the Mate 30 series. More information on the new smartphones will arrive in the next few days.
