Honor 10 updated with the GPU Turbo technology

The recent Honor Play, on sale only in China, includes a technology that increases performance with games. His name is GPU Turbo and will soon be available on top of the Honor 10 range.

The GPU of smartphones is subject to stringent technical constraints to avoid excessive overheating and a negative impact on autonomy. The technology developed by the Chinese manufacturer allows to increase the efficiency of the graphic processing up to 60%, reducing at the same time the consumption up to 30%. The image quality is improved even if the game does not support HDR (High Dynamic Range) technique.
GPU Turbo optimizes the experience of using the smartphone, taking advantage of the tight integration between the hardware and the EMUI software. Support for virtual and augmented reality is also expected in the future. The beta version will be released on July 15th and will be available on Honor 10 from July 30th. The update will also come on other Honor smartphones, such as Honor View 10 and Honor 9 Lite.
