Google opens a new online store | Free shipping and Nexus 6 price reduction

Google is betting strongly on the devices sale to compete face to face against Apple, and to show the world that they go all out they have just introduced into society the new Chromebook Pixel, the renewal of its laptop with Chrome OS, and also launched a new online store.

Google Store is the name of the new online store where Google will sell its devices. It is now available in Europe, and in its opening we see the shipping costs are free and how the Nexus 6 has experienced a reduction in its price of 50 euros, costing now 599 euros for the 32 GB and 649 euros for 64 GB.

We have now on sale the same devices that were available in Google Play; that is to say, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Chromecast, Moto 360, LG G Watch, Samsung Gear Live and accessories. The device section of Google Play links now to Google Store.

Another important change is that Google has removed the Nexus 5 from sale. It had been months since there was stock but now we know that there will be no more, that is no longer for sale, so we will have to find this phone in other stores. It is rumored that in May its successor, the Nexus 5 (2015), is announced.

Finally, Google has also confirmed that henceforth all new devices that are to come to market have the new USB-C connector, the new standard that already the new Chromebook Pixel (as you can see in the video below) and new Apple MacBook enjoy.
