DJI will not abandon the Phantom drone line

DJI seems intent on not wanting to erase the Phantom line of drones although they havent been available for a long time.

DJI does not seem to want to erase the line of Phantom drones that contributed to its great success over time. However, there is still a great deal about the future of these drones. The Pahntom line has not been updated for a very long time and several rumors claim that the Phantom 5 project would be canceled.

Moreover, Romeo Durscher, Director of Public Safety Integration of DJI, has recently stated that apart from the commercial model Phantom 4 Pro RTK, the Pahntom line was to be considered at the terminus. All news that had alarmed the DJI brand’s fans.

In this regard, however, the company wanted to put a brake on these rumors by stating that it has no intention of canceling this line of drones. The reason why retailers have stopped selling these drones is due to the fact that due to supply problems of some components the company is no longer able to build the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 model.

Statements that should be reassuring if not the same ones that DJI has been doing for at least 5 months. Moreover, on the Phantom 5 the company says that there is nothing to cancel because the project never existed and that the stolen photos that emerged in the network over time belonged to a project for a single customer.

So, very smoky statements that suggest that the fate of the Phantom drones is now hanging by a thread. DJI advises its customers to focus on Mavic Air or Mavic 2 which are drone models that are going very well.

Moreover, today the market wants folding drones and therefore for Phantoms there would be little space. However, Phantoms have made DJI history and maybe the company would do well to keep them alive in some way.
