Creative Omni Sound Blaster Surround 5.1

In addition to the new line Aurvana headphones, Creative has also led to Berlin three new sound cards which have always been the main product of the brand in Singapore. The most important of the three is the Omni Sound Blaster Surround 5.1, an external USB sound card of limited size that doubles both as a primary audio source for listening by headphone and as a microphone for hands free audio communications. The addressed card is justified by the presence of a 600ohm headphone amplifier, enough to drive even the most difficult models such as high end headphones or studio monitoring. To facilitate control of the volume there is a red roll that is imposed on the right side of the body of the card.

The Omni Surround 5.1 juggles well as an accessory for Skype or any other voice chat through the use of a dual microphone able to filter out ambient noise. The card also supports software SBX Pro Studio and CrystalVoice to refine, adapt and improve the input and output audio. The other two products are internal instead of PCIe and recover the old brand Audigy launched several years ago. As for the Omni also on the Sound Blaster Audigy Rx. It finds the same amplifier up to 600 ohms, flanked by Rx functions in EAX Studio Software for customizing effects for music, movies, games and voice.

All models will arrive in Europe in October and will be allocated to the lower mid markets. List prices are € 80, € 70 and € 40 respectively for the Omni Sound Blaster Surround 5.1 on USB, and Sound Blaster Audigy and Sound Blaster Audigy Rx on PCI Express slot.
