ASUS ZenFone Max M2, two new smartphones are coming soon

The Taiwanese producer has planned an event for next December 11th. The protagonists will be ZenFone Max M2 and ZenFone Max Pro M2, two mid-range smartphones with interesting features. In the last hours the main specifications and some images that revealed the design have appeared online.

Both will have a 6-inch screen with full HD + resolution (2340×1080 pixels) and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. This therefore indicates the presence of a notch in the upper part. However, ASUS has chosen a slightly different shape and size. The ZenFone Max is wider with rounded corners, while the ZenFone Max Pro M2 is smaller with smaller corners.

The standard model should integrate an octa core Snapdragon 636 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of storage, microSD slot, dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel main sensor. For the Pro version we expect an octa core Snapdragon 660 processor, 4 or 6 GB of RAM, 64/128 GB of storage, microSD slot, dual 12 and 5 megapixel rear camera, 5,000 mAh battery. The frame will be entirely in aluminum for the ZenFone Max M2, while the ZenFone Max Pro M2 cover will be made of glass.

On the back there is the fingerprint reader. The operating system is Android 8.1 Oreo with ZenUI interface. Prices should be similar to those of the previous ZenFone Max M1. Both will surely be distributed in Europe, therefore also in Europe.
