Valve Steam Box | The console could be released in 2013
For some months now there have been rumors on the net of a probable Valve house project concerning the development of a home console able to take this machine market to the next generation. The Steam Box project has now been confirmed by Valve’s Gabe Newell stating that it will be presented as a “living room PC” also revealing the alleged release date.

It seems that the Valve Steam Box will be released during the first quarter of next year although the same company responsible for it has not rattled any additional detail, especially on the final price. Valve may anticipate so many months of competition with Sony and Microsoft, buying up a very large proportion of users eager to get their hands on a brand new machine generation.

The purpose of Valve is practically to offer users a hybrid between a PC and a home console although any kind of hardware feature is still top secret.
