Sony unveils the Full 3D porjector VPL-HW50ES in Berlin IFA 2012

The new, revolutionary home cinema projector was unveiled to the official German event Berlin IFA 2012. Sony has announced the arrival of VPL-HW50ES, the projector Full HD 3D which is the latest in home cinema category. After the great success of the VPL-HW30ES, already a leader in 3D home cinema projection, Sony has decided to launch the next model which implements the latest technology and provides a 3D home cinema of even higher quality.

Among the new features included, there is a version of the “Reality Creation” from Sony developed for the 4K home cinema projector VPL-VW1000ES. The technology uses an algorithm for digital signal processing developed by Sony to restore the lost information during the transfer of the original content on the disc creating images in Full HD quality and a natural color reproduction.

In addition to the most advanced technology, Sony VPL-HW50ES is also equipped with numerous updated functionalities making it easier to use and those are: a transmitter embedded 3D, a wider movement of optics that reaches a vertical displacement of + / – 71% and a silent operation and a maximum noise level of 21 db.

VPL-HW50ES will be available across Europe in white and black at the end of October.
