Powered Jacket MK3 | Exoskeleton evolved

The proposal that we illustrate today is taken from those offered on occasional cinematic universes but has the advantage of being real.

Robotic Structure

It is the Powered Jacket MK3, a robotic structure that can be seen as an extension of the body of the person who uses it. 2.25 meters high and weighing 25 pounds, this proposal has been developed by Sagawa Electronics which has infused the wisdom of the engineers of its core research to achieve a high level of sophistication evidenced by the fluidity of movement that characterizes the contraption.

Light Ingredients

The body is molded making extensive use of aluminum and carbon fiber materials that have allowed us to reduce weight, to enhance their functionality in a context where all superfluous elements could affect the operational qualities of the system. The control seems simple enough given that the legs are connected to modules worn as stilts while the mechanical arms are natural continuity with those of the user which mimic the movements fluidly. It also shares a high degree of complexity without particular contrasts. Currently the module is able to lift loads of 15 kg per arm but for safety reasons the limit is set to only 2 kg. However, the sensitivity is still not such as to allow to take an egg without breaking it. At present there are only five examples offered at a price of $ 123.000 each. One wonders what would be the utility in this dimension while it is easier to understand the benefit that this technology could give a view of personal and military activities.
