Pocket size music quality gadget

Costing 169 euros, the gadget is essentially a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) pocket sized, imagine a portable version of digital signal to analog converters, which until recently were reserved for audio systems to improve their performance in the playback of digital files. In our tests we used two models of Sony and LG, with which the Kunlun E18 demonstrated that not only vastly improves the sound quality, but that this improvement is seen even with the most standard headphones. The result makes the music sound much richer and deeper, while highlighting details melodies that previously went unnoticed.

Thanks to the USB on the Go, the functions of the media player smartphone are transferred to the corresponding buttons on the portable DAC, so that no one can use the mobile screen for this purpose. From a button gadgets can also be grown strengthening, thus further improving the sound in certain types of music. Although there is a corresponding button for more bass, in this case, in our opinion the difference is negligible when the sound reaches the headphones and sometimes it can also cause low buzzing sounds in the gaps between songs.

However, the size is not larger than a standard phone and weighs just 162 grams. Perhaps the most significant extra argument that the Fiio company gives, is that it can also function as a spare battery and charge your phone, holding it to life when it is ready to shut down.

When used only as a portable DAC and not used to replace the energy of the phone, the gadget has a range of up to 12 hours. It also has outputs for connecting speakers or car stereo and although designed as accompanying accessories of mobile phones can be connected to a computer to take back to improve the playback quality of the stored music.
