New smartphone from former employees of Nokia
After the acquisition of Nokia by Microsoft, few wondered about the fate of the company’s employees that will not be employed by the U.S. giant. The design and implementation has already started in Finland and his team Jolla is ready to launch its first smartphone in the coming months and first in Europe. From the specifications published we learn that the first Jolla smartphone will be a part of the mid range category with a multi touch screen of 4,5″ IPS qHD, a camera of 8 megapixels, a dual core Qualcomm processor at 1,4 GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage space and a MicroSD port.

The stakes are high, given that it is the first phone to utilize the new operating Sailfish OS, the betting goes rocketing. Maybe that’s why the creators decided to hold the price below 400 euros. What is not restrained, however, is the color palette, with the results you see in the pictures. The Sailfish is an open operating based them on the Android, but offers an alternative user experience with a strong emphasis on gestures including swipe away, pull, peek etc.
