New application rates your addiction to smartphones

Researchers from the University of Bonn in Germany have created an application that is able to measure the degree of addiction of the users to smart mobile phones. The application is called Menthal. Essentially, the application allows us to measure the daily use of your smartphone and check which of the applications you use more, what numbers you call more often and how much time we spend surfing in the Internet.

Researchers studied by applying the behavior of 50 students for a period of six weeks. It was found that 25% of students made ​​use of the mobile phone for more than two hours per day. At the same time, as the AMPE, the study concluded that the majority of users are not using the device to make phone calls but for other functions.
