Hyperkin Retron 5 | The glory of nine historical consoles in a single box
Whether you’re a gaming fanatic or just nostalgic for those titles that have made it into the history of the most popular consoles, Hyperkin has something for you. Retron 5 aims to be the Messiah of retro gamers, a time machine that can bring the modern TV and connect it back to an era eager to return to the vintage flavor of those video games that could not have been loved more. It is a real console, complete with accessories which brings together in a single system different gaming experiences as they were known twenty years ago. Certain titles which have been talked about are not lost. There are emulators and ROMs exist so someone has painstakingly preserved the old console and cartridges, a gesture more than praiseworthy. The console Hyperkin is the result of a work of reverse engineering that led to the creation of a device that can emulate the functions of the more famous consoles. Retron 5, as the name suggests, comes with 5 different slots in which you can insert the cartridges of NES, SNES, Genesis, Famicom, Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advanced.

The Retron 5 will be equipped with an HDMI port that can transmit the signal to your TV forcing the resolution to 720p. The console also will have two pads with wireless Bluetooth compatible with all systems and 6 connectors for the pads of the old console.

Retron 5 is not the only Hyperkin offer. There is already the Retron 3 console that can play cartridges NES, SNES and Genesis at the cost of $ 59. SupaBoy instead, is a portable device designed to be able to play SNES titles as if it were doing so on any mobile console through a 3.5 inch screen with the shape of one of the classic pads of said entertainment system. Hyperkin has to bring to light Retron 5 around the 5th of June at a price that will be around $ 100.
