Alcatel Pixi 3| What operating system do you want to use?

There are few days left to start the CES 2015 technology fair, which will be held in Las Vegas between the 6th and 9th of January, but that does not prevent some manufacturers from having already announced some products that will be presented in that instance. One of those is Alcatel, which seeks to conquer the market with its new line of smartphones called Pixi 3.

They have several equipment that will be available in different screen sizes: 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5 inches, and what is most interesting of all, they will allow the client to choose which mobile operating system they want to use: Windows Phone, Firefox OS or Android. Among the models to offer they will all include 4G/LTE connectivity except for the one of 3.5 inches, which will support only 3G.

Unfortunately, there are still no details regarding the price or other specifications about these terminals, although it is likely that they give us more information at the CES. It also remains to be seen how it will implement the support for multiple operating systems, will they sell different models for each platform? Or will we choose or change the operating system once we buy the phone? This should be clarified in the technology fair in Las Vegas.

We will look to expand the details on these terminals as soon as possible, and also to inform about other releases concerning Windows and Windows Phone to take place at CES 2015.
